Your team's video + AI: how to start without spending
For an AI tool to analyse a match, the video has to be good. The good news is that you do not need an expensive camera: a modern phone on a tripod, in a high spot from which the whole pitch can be seen, is a good starting point.
The recording should be fixed, with all players in view. Tools that track players or tag actions work much better with a stable shot and no constant zooming.
Then let AI do the repetitive work (marking moments with the ball, detecting shots or turnovers) and you choose what matters: 5 to 10 moments to show the team, each with a single question. Always check what the tool marked: sometimes it confuses players or misses actions.
With minors, tell the families, ask for their authorisation and share videos only with those who should see them. And before uploading them to a platform, check what it does with them.
